What is the Data Mining and Bioinformatics Lab | NWPU?

The Data mining and Bioinformatics Lab | NWPU focuses on data mining and machine learning, developing high performance algorithms for analyzing omics data and educational big data. Those biological data include but not limit to DNA methylations, RNA-seq, protein-protein interactions, gene expression profiles, cellular pathways, gene-disease associations, etc. Our aim is to improve our understanding of cellular processes, molecular mechanism, evolution and genetic diseases at the molecular level using in-silico approaches. Educational data mining aims to discover the latent behavior patterns in education and whereby enhance the quality of education.
